One million unique visitors today!

Wow, I can't quite believe it. With many thanks to Kirk for the heads up - that dear man keeps a better eye on my stats than I do! - this blog has actually hit 1 million unique visitors today.

That's one million people who've stopped by since I started A Consuming Experience way back in late 2004.

Thank you all for reading, and I hope this blog continues to be useful, fun and interesting to you.

I should thank the Googlebot too, as most of my visitors seem to be from Google rather than repeat visitors. I really appreciate the regular readers and subscribers, don't y'all go away now!

If there's anything you'd like me to cover which I haven't already, just get in touch via comment or one of the ways in the sidebar.

I know I've been very behind in answering comments lately, but I hope to get back to it soon, so please be patient if you're waiting.

And thank you all again.

It couldn't happen to a nicer blog.

Congrats, and onward to 2 million.

I'm not surprised at all, I've been stopping by for almost two years now and never has the visit not been worthwhile. Thanks for all the techie goodness you bring to the blogosphere :)

Hi,

I came through a search about the iplayer and ended up staying for about 4 hours.

Great deep varied site, still don't know who/what, you are beyond a "girl" !

Will try to become a regular visitor time-permitting, though I'm normally a shy lurker anyway.

Yours kindly,
